I have a sony video at home which I cannot connect to the tv using scart (messy situation would involve a hacksaw, drill etc etc). Recently the picture on the vidoe went to crap altogether.
The problem is ovbious when I turn the video off...E4 is now on the same frequency so it interferes.

Is there not some kind of restriction on freqs used by videos so channels or cable providers do not screw up videos like this????

thanks cableguy...I'll have to go track down the manual tonite. Don't want to have to call NTL as they will probably charge a fortune.

Its free on the spot service if you bring it to any Sony Centre, they are well used to fixing this bugette and have all the manuals on CDROM

Thanks again CableGuy..twas piss easy. If only I had bothered to look at the front panel of the video I would have seen the damn button but I was busy tooling around in the menus :-)

I feel stoopid for asking about this as it was so easy to fix. I'd have felt a right spa though if I had got NTL out or brought it into a sony centre.
