Just got back from the concert. They played a brilliant set, and everything was perfect. I especially liked the percussion segment.:)

That bit was deadly! Great drum solo.

Overall a good gig but I thought they let things die a bit in the encore - that jam wasn't the best. :dunno:

the hundred reasons pulling out at the last minute dissapointed me but Incubus were excellent, but I didn't like the encore that much, was expecting Pardon Me in the encore like all their other gigs in the last month but it never came. ended on a bad note, but they were class, and that drum solo was pretty damn cool

Indeed, they should have dispensed with the 10 minute wankfest in the middle of Sick Sad Little World and played Pardon me instead.
About my only disappointment in the whole show.

I was stood close to the back, cos I had a sore foot. Still have a gripe with the point in that either the set isn't loud enough, or the sound doesn't carry properly. Close to the back, you can hear people talking, even in the middle of Vitamin. It's not like it's a huge Venue.

I'm sure in the thick of the crowd the buzz was good, with launching into a few songs, going meandering in the middle of them, and returning at the end. Bringing people up then down and up again, if you will.

Before the gig, I didn't much care for Incubus.

Now I want them to die horrible, horrible deaths.

I agree that the end was kinda slow, and drawn out, but i thought they finished well with are you in.

Deadly gig, I really enjoyed it. Especially as I had a free ticket. The support band were crap, but I find myself liking Incubus a lot more now. The drum solo was amazing, although some idiots started chanting "ole, ole, ole" during it.

All the girls taking pictures of Brandon annoyed me a bit when they were in my way, but it didn't matter much, they're a brilliant band.

It's all part of Irish people being the musical ignoramuses we know and love. Get a big enough group in a room, and they'll just start chanting ole ole ole and singing the fields of athenry in the absence of music.

    Ole Ole Ole???
    O why O why O why!?

I hate it when people start that chant!

    Its not even Irish!!!!

Does anybody know where it originated?

I noticed that when brandon went to the left of the stage there was this large concentration of women in the pit who went mental. It was funny.....:)

afaik it came from the Italians or the spanish/mexicans at some world cup.
We, being a country of bards and scholars, couldn't be arsed coming up with a better one.
I dunno. Spam the soccer board.

I thought it was great. I got right to the front...... thought pantomime sounded pretty good. Drum solo was excellent. They weren't that loud though. They got the crowd going crazy anyway. The support act weren't great, all their songs were really repetitive. I got to talk to them before it all started...they were handing out leaflets beside the stage when the doors opened. Aside from that it was a thoroughly enjoyable gig.
oh and that "Ole Ole" thing....during the drum solo, in the pit they changed it to "José José"...
