Starts Friday night on channel4 and e4. Probably won't be interactive on e4 AGAIN but there are some hopes, such as pg.6 on Sky magazine, bottom left. It says it is interactive but its probably how they forgot to edit that from the UK edition for the Irish edition.

Anyway, roll on BB5. Lets hope its the best yet!!!!:D

It’s the smallest Big Brother house yet – and designed to make the contestants’ lives as tough as possible.

The 12 inmates will find their new home has been shrunk into a claustrophobic and ugly space when they arrive on Friday.

The first pictures of the house, released today, show the walls have been painted a lurid green to make the atmosphere even more intense than previous years.

The stylish interiors of the past have been replaced with a beige carpet, stark lighting, and ugly decorations.

Designer Markus Blee, also behind Gordon Ramsay’s newest restaurant for ITV1 reality show Hell’s Kitchen, has been told to create “evil” for the inmates.

The walls have been painted with what looks like a series of bad sixth form art projects. Dozens of casts of green hands are fixed to one wall, while another wall conjures up images of an unpleasant alien planet.

The space is so small that designers had to create a table which can be folded up and pushed away.

After last year’s flop, this year’s Big Brother will feature a series of stunts to make contestants’ lives as tough as possible.

Producers want big rows between the group – and hope this will happen with the group living on top of each other during the ten week Channel 4 show.

Executive producer Shirley Jones said: “This year we want to challenge the housemates’ preconceptions.

“The house is smaller. It’s a lot more oppressive. The ceiling has been lowered in places and the floor has been raised.

“We especially designed the house to make it difficult for people.”

It’s also thought that this year’s contestants include two couples, a witch, a male stripper and even a former prostitute, in the hope of lifting ratings.

Umm they already tried making the contestant's lives tough with the Heaven/Hell farce in the third outing and it failed miserably - it was just bloody boring. Why would it work this time? *Sigh*

I liked two of them (don't know which order), but I hate the way they've totally chopped it up. Also, no nudity. It made it more voyeuristic in the first one how they were leanient on the nudity side of things, but no more.:p

One of the perks of Sky Digital is with so many channels I'm not going to flick onto E4 where as with analogue NTL it was harder to avoid.
Another year will pass and once again I'll remain blissfully oblivious to this shite.

The contestants look like a right bunch of **** this year ... which is good when you think about it.

In that Millenium-Falcon style hamster cage house and with the high arsehole percentage living there I reckon this show wil be an vast improvement on BB4 (but how could it not be?).

Ahmed, Victor and Kitten are characters I've earmarked as troublemaking sh1t-stirrers. Here's hoping they go the distance.
Emma is clearly the 'Jade - Mark 2' pseudo-dope character that's only even there to have the piss taken out of them.
Michelle : I can't wait to see her in a bikini.
Nadia : First thought was 'yeah, she's pretty cute'. Then I found out she was a transexual. Then thought 'yeah, she's pretty cute'.

The rest? Meh, whatever! I can see that camp guy Marco being an annoying fu<k.

Last night, after the group were introduced on C4, I watched a bit of it on E4.
Marco and Kitten (I think) were talking. Then E4 cut the sound. Based on what I could work out from reading his lips, he was telling Kitten he thought Nadia was a transsexual, and giving various reasons.
Ok, so obviously E4/C4 cut the sound in case someone talks about someone in the 'real' world etc. but here were two people in the house talking about a third person in the house. Why did they cut the sound?

Anyway, the show does seem to have some of the most annoying people possible. Marco seems like a hyperactive chipmunk on helium. Kitten being the mandatory depressed 'angry at the world' individual.

On the positive side of things, theres Vanessa ,who if she does like metal music just makes her perfect and both Michelle and Shell have positive aspects too

They seem like the most ignorant, attentiom seeking idiots I have ever had to endure watching in my life. And what is with the gay people? They are on the show just for the fact that they are gay, that is so disgusting on behalf of the makers. Its so degrading to the gay people, that the only reason they are aloud on tv is because of their gay/campness.

Saying that, I hope shes not the first one to be evicted. Couple reasons:
* She doesn't want to be there (or at least thats the way she acts)

So, this seems a good reason to keep her in for a few weeks at least

* Shes bound to really annoy some of the others

So they won't sit around being super-nice to each other.

did anyone see distraction the other night? had on 4 of the people from last years BB. the scots guy who one it, the guy who was on brainiac, the pretty (but pretty dumb) half cast girl with the mad hair [anouska?] and the half scots half italian w@nker. was amazingly funny seeing them all get electrocuted and shot with a paintball gun. very funny. oh, and smashing bottles over each others heads.

it'd be great if they just made this years BB just that for the whole time. electocutions and paintballing.

they do all look like idiots this year (but then, don't they always?)

the transexual girl actually looks female in the face, but she still has a mans body, and for the limited time i've been watching it (honest) it was painfully obvious she used to be a he.

The conversation was shown in full on the Daily Show on Channel 4. They're 'censoring' the good bits from the live broadcast to use in the Daily Show. Bit childish, to be honest....

Here's a question.... All of the housemates have longish odds on winning (ranging from 9-2 to 28-1). If you put €20 on 3 different housemates, and one of them won, you'd make your money back plus a bit of profit. Who would you choose?

If Kitten had some charisma she'd could probably get a few of the other's to follow here lead, however she's pretty much charisma free. (They all seem to be a bit lacking in the charisma department)

Reckon they put Ahmed in because he said he was homophobic, although he seems pretty much like the most normal dude in there, a bit of luck he'll do well. (although I'd say he's gone as soon as he's nominated)

I have to say the people in Big Brother this year are the most annoying SOBs this planet ever spawned.

However what is keeping me watching is that BB plan to torture them. Add to that 'kitten' annoying the hell out of just about everyone (and she only has one set of clothes as BB punished her for being a b!tch) we might just see our first murder on BB. -_-

I think you have to pay for it anyway + they must do a check of ip to see the source and determine the address is outside the UK.

Seems a bit ridiculous that it's only uk can watch it on the net.

If it was just an IP (range) check, you could probably just use one of the public HTTP proxies that are on the net (picking one thats based in the UK).
But as it seems you have to pay anyway, forget that idea...
