need a plumber/heating engineer recommendation

    I need someone who will 1. turn up (!) and 2. explain precisely what needs to be fixed in my home heating system. Preferably someone who won't leave the job half finished because they need an electrician and we don't have hot water for a week [ sound familiar ? }

    Seriously folks : any recommendations for someone who will do a decent job in troubleshooting and fixing our home heating system ? It's only 4 years old and it appears that at least one electrical component has failed plus the original plumber didn't do the job properly to begin with....
    I don't mind paying properly for good work and have already had 2 cowboys turn up who couldn't explain what the problem was but knew how much it would cost to fix ! (maybe I'm just unlucky !)
