There's always cartoons or television programmes you remember from your childhood but just can't think of the name.

I hope this thread will give people a place to found out the name of that programme

*I can't remember the name of this one,

a german shepard who would go from town to town saving kids and people from perdicerments. All i really remember is that the theme tune was class.

    Any ideas?

    Ah the Littlest Hobo:

London is an extremely intelligent, wandering German shepherd who walks into a different place in each episode of this long-running television series, and comes upon people down on their luck or in trouble. London always befriends and helps the struggling person or persons. Then, when his job is done at episode's end, London declines to be the pet of the people he has helped and departs to continue his cross-country drifting.

    Classic theme tune too:
There's a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road is where I'll always be

Every stop I make, I'll make a new friend
Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Down this road, that never seems to end,
Where new adventure, lies just around the bend.

So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home.

So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light
    That's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

    [Instrumental Bridge]

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

    There's a world, that's waiting to unfold,
A brand new tale, no one has ever told,

We've journey'd far but, you know it won't be long,
We're almost there and we've paid our fare, with the hobo song.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll find what I call home
Until tomorrow, you know I'm free to roam.

*sigh* Poor doggy. I hope he found happiness in the end.

I just totally loved that show wiv that mangey mutt!!!! If I remember correctly it used to be on BBC1 in the morning during the school holidays. And also another time they showed it on a friday evening before Grange Hill (ah Tucker Jenson! *sigh*) :p
I hope they don't ever repeat it though. Like many tv shows/cartoons from my childhood, they lost their appeal and the memory was ruined when I saw them through adult eyes.
They just looked pure crap! :(
Unlike the following; Bagpuss, Trumpton, Campbellwick Green, Clangers, Mr. Men (original version - none of those skanky Lil Miss slappers!), G-Force.

By the way... does anyone know if G-Force are available in any highstreet retail outlet? (I don't gots a Credito Card and cant shop online)
