Mac Mail & Exchange 5.5 ?

Anyone know how to configure Mac Mail to work with exchange 5.5 (not POP) or be able to point me in the right direction to get the info ?

I have one manager in here who insists on using a mac laptop despite him having no reason to other than "I can"...

He's set up for pop, but now wants to connect "like everyone else"... (to which my reply is usually then use a pc like everybody else)... If he wasn't a manager than I wouldn't bother but...

Any queries on Apple hardware or software go to Apple Discussions, and enter the appropriate forum.

For Mail queries go to Mail, and search for "exchange via mail", a list of relevant threads will be displayed, there is one with an identical request as youself that perhaps contains the answer.

Have you ever owned a Mac ?

    PS: I'm a manager.

Never owned a mac & absolutely no desire to... yes they're aesthetically pleasing, but otherwise... meh...

A manager you might be, but do you have the same attitude ?

    Thanks for the info...

AFAIK, Mail only works properly on Exchange 2000 with IMAP and HTTPDAV enabled. Tell the pointy-haired clown to use Outlook 2001 if he wants to get mails off an exchange server... If some managers had brains they'd be dangerous...
