Luas Stations on the Bridges

it's a bit disappointing that they have opted to put the LUAS stations on the bridges in both Ranelagh and Grand Canal. Instead of the clean line of the bridge accross the street or canal you have a lot of clutter (shelters etc) that takes away from the visual amenity. Anybody else agree?

I'm more interested in the getting rid of the red undercoat :)

Part of the logic of having them at the bridges is it makes the platforms more visible to the public and keeps them away from private property.

Also means more users are well served. They would never have thought of providing pedestrian access on both sides of the canal bridge if the station was not on top.

Me agrees with Victor - Down with the red paint!

You can still have access at both ends of the bridge - great idea on the canal bridge - bit the shelters look pretty unsightly.
