handheld device for using acrobat

    hello,
    is there some sorta handheld device i can get for reading adobe acrobat files and check email?
    i dont wanna buy a palm pilot or an ipaq or anything like that, cant afford them..
    so, is there another device i could get that can read pdf files from a memory card ?
    edit: even a mobile will do

    Sounds like a Pocket PC would be ideal. Buy a 2nd hand one.

    Yeah you can get acrobat free on Pocket PC but not sure whether its available on palm or mobile.

    freaky, I was just thinking today "I wish I could read pdf books in bed" :D

    Some humble suggestions for a reader device:

    1. PalmOne Zire 31 for around €165 would fit the bill, they are cheap as chips and as long as your not outdoors in bright sunshine the 4096 colour screen is fine. Adobe themselves make a free reader for palmos, which has excellent reformating options.

    2. Nokia N-Gage (Circa €99, dunno try buy+sell) & pdf+ (€22)
    I think there a bit dodgy but suppose it's a workable solution.

    Don't know of any other, more cost effective solutions :D

    If you can't afford a PDA, even 2nd hand. Why on earth would you need to read PDF's on the move?
