    Simple question. Had a google from command line/text browser for mac and couldn't find any. So, do any of ye know of any for mac os/x?

    Lynx is a text based browser for OSX if thats what you mean.

    Do you have to compile it yourself, because I know nowt about that.

    Apple have a binary download on this page. No need to compile :)
