    Anyone else read/played it?

It's a very nice idea, and the system is quite easy to work with. The author is quite a nice guy too, and the fiction in the book is quite well written.

It's a wonderful, wonderful game. Ok, it's dark and depressing in parts, but it's one of the most innovative gameworlds I've seen in a while. Plus, as you say, the author is a wonderful guy.

There should be a supplement coming out (Lostfinders Guide to Mireend) in the not too hugely distant future and if I can manage it I'll be able to get some stuff into the supplement after that.

Plus, the book is beautiful. What more do you people want? Go out and buy it!

Playing a game of it at the moment, it's been run by a guy called Gar Hanrahan, maybe you know him? The world is very dark, but the essence of the game is trying to find some good, for the most part. It also allows alot of width both for the players and the GM. The majority of the locations in the city are left deliberately vague to allow the GM room for customisation. The character types are very varied and neary totally customisable, while being extremely hard to break, min/maxing does not work in this system, at least early in the game.
