Giving notice

My contract end in a few weeks and I have been offered permanency. However I have decided to leave my job - do I have to give notice of my intention not to renew the contract.

If there's nothing in your contract about renewal notice, then I doubt it. But then again courtesy would mean you'd tell them your not taking up th eoffer of a permanent job.

Why do you not want to say it to them?
