Hi, have NTL cable in my house to one computer. Looking to share it with another computer downstairs. Wired is not an option unfortunately. So i want to setup a wireless network. There will only be the 2 comps (xp and 2k). I was thinking of just getting 2 wireless adapters and setting internet connection sharing on one pc.

Ideally i would like to keep it as cheap as possible - so can anyone recommend me a place to buy the gear? Also, i would prefer one of them to be usb rather than pci.

    Thanks.

Well I got a Belkin wireless router 802.11b with 4 RJ45 ports and dsl modem port for €60 in Harvey Normans.(Bargin or wrong price?) You could get this and a PCI/USB dongle (around €50) for the other computer. Have not heard much praise for the usb dongles. Benefilt of the router is that you dont need both pcs on in order to share the connection. Also you can attach laptops etc. With peer to peer connections your limited to 2 pcs only AFAIR.

www.microaid.ie seem quite good - not the friendliest website in the world, but competitive prices and a wide range of products.
