    This was mentioned on a previous thread. When I saw the thread title here I thought we were going to see something about a layer that had formed on the top of one of your jars of Mustard.

    I'm sure that most readers here don't leave their mustard hanging around long enough for a film to form, but I think of proper mustard as something that's not going to go off. Is that a mistaken belief on my part? I suppose that would depend on what else is in the Mustard.

    i always thought of mustard in the same light as mayo, in that id check the date on it everytime i open the jar.
