    Hi all,
I'm thinkin bout getting rid of NTL cable & getting an aerial. I need an aerial that can pick up RTE1, NET 2, TV3, BBC1, BBC2, UTV & Chanel 4 with the best possible reception. Although its mainly for ITV & Chanel 4 as I have Sky digital. I live in Warrenstown in the D15 area. Was wondering are any of yiz living in the same area & have a similar setup?

    Thanx in advance

Your Best bet is probably to go to eBay.co.uk and buy a "FTV" card from a fairly reputable seller.

That will give you UTV/C4/C5 on satellite.

It will cost you probably 100 - 120euro

Give me a PM if you want more info!

Assuming you can get the UK channels you would need a seperate one for the UK channels

    Basically you need
    1) A high gain UHF aerial (of the correct group) pointed at Divis Camlough or Kilkeel (ideally Divis)
    2) A masthead preamplifier (booster) and power supply for the above
    3) a mast (pole) height dependent on where you lived
    4) a wideband UHF aerial for RTE
    5) an appropriate combiner
