Can anyone recommend "Wave of Mutilation" ?

I'm toying with buying it because I think I *should* have it... I'm familiar with (& like) Here Comes Your Man & Monkey Gone To Heaven, but are they indicative of the rest of the album ?

    TIA

Here Comes Your Man and Monkey Gone To Heaven are the quieter side of the Pixies. I don't know the track-listing for the album, but I'd imagine there'll be a fair few of the screaming-at-the-top-of-his-voice numbers too.

Regardless, I'd definitely recommend you get in to them. Perhaps pick up Surfer Rosa or Doolittle first, they're always knocking around in the sales.
