Have a look at http://www.aldi.co.uk/ie/, whats the verdict on the TV? Parents are lookin for a new TV, was thinking of heading down Thursday morning and picking one up... Opinions?

Oo, they have a nice cheap (€10) multimeter too, might pick one up.

We got the one last year (incidentally @ 299 €, but I'm not sure wether this has the "flat screen" ) and are very happy with it. Just make sure the boot is big enough, they're some big & heavy mama's ....

Hmm, €350 not bad for a 28" Flatscreen. It seems to be a Vestel-manufactured TV (similar to Goodmans, Black Diamond, Alba, etc). Not really the best TV on the market but what do you expect for that price. :)
