    Well hopefully this is the right area for posting this query.

    Am moving to Aughrim soon and was wondering what is the story with cable in the area, i take it NTL are not there yet.

    Has anyone got any decent suggestions.

    If you cant get cable get Sky its very good you get all the channels except UTV and CHANNEL 4.

    cheers for that, i know about the sky situation but i have one problem, my wife wants Channel 4, i dont mind if we loose it but she wants to keep onto it

    Isn't Co. Wicklow a Chorus area? The folks live in Greystones now and that's who they're with.

    Yeah, but they don't want to got with Sky but want better reception that an aerial will give them so what can they do?

    Welcome to co Wicklow
    I know Aughrim well and it is indeed scenic, but with a population of maybe 800 or so, it doesn't have cable.
    Tv reception there is dodgy too as you are surrounded by hills and mountains.
    Sky is the only way there.
    Bring your FTV card if you have one.
