battlefield 1942 wont start

    im having trouble where bf 1942 wont start on a pc
    its a pentium 4 2.8 1 gb ddr ram and a 9800 pro (catalyst 4.5)

    i click the exe and nothing happens
    does battlefield create a log when it fails to start
    so i can see what the error is?

    Tried reinstalling it ?

    Also check event viewer and see if there any errors in there.

    Control Panel/Admin options/Event viewer.
    Used a No Cd recently?

    ya i was uing a no cd because the pc has no cd/dvd drive

    i didnt know it would still check to see if there was a drive there even with the no cd installed
    so i just setup a virtual drive to make it think there was a drive on the pc and it started :)
