Not I alas unfortantly my mainboard does not support.
I actually orginaly ordered the GA- K8VNXP whish supported after a bios update but they sent me the GA-K8NNXP instead. Would of like to use it if I had the option with a air cooler. Doubt I would need with when I upgrade. Its mean't to be the bizz though

I've tried it and although it drop the temperature for my cpu by quiet a bit, it doesnt seem to work that well. I got a perfromance hit thats just not good enough even for lowering temperature.
ionapaul, hows the temperature like and dont you notice that your pc is slower?

It works fine for me, the CPU temp really has dropped a lot when idle, about 7/8 degrees. I have not experienced any slowdown when gaming, but don't have Farcry or Battlefield Vietnam to really push my system hard. Haven't ran 3DMark03 with C'N'Q enabled, will have to do this to see if my result (6000 or so) is lowered. I have heard that some people have had problems with the multiplier sticking at x4 instead of increasing to x10 during gaming, and they had to disable the C'n'Q to get full performance back. But as mentioned before, I have not experienced this.

I got it working I think at last. Kinda dissapointed that the drop is about only 5-6C underload. I guess its better than nothing.

neokenzo, had you enabled the supported Cool 'n' Quiet feature for the K8V Deluxe prior to using the AMD update? Have you both running now or what? I have the ASUS cool 'n' quiet enabled and I'm not sure whether to run that AMD update aswell.

I did enable it way back when I first got my rig but only for a short while. I had to disable it when I was overclocking and have not enable it until now so I couldnt tell you whether its of any significant beneficial to you. However, I still think you should update it. Just to make your cpu runs more efficiently.

Sorry for draging this up

What speed is the CPU ment to run at when enabled? Im using an ASUS mobo and with it enabled my 3000+ A64 runs at 1.00ghz  With a core voltage of 1.022 something?

This is hardly right? I was also having problems loading the pc with it enabled, slow boot , screen off focus etc. Have it disabled now and the temp is 32.

I have enabled it and the speed is 1000 Mhz at idle, voltage 1.0 or something.

As soon as I do anything more strenuous than wiggling the mouse, it speeds back up again to 1.8. I hadnt noticed any performance hit.

I also have ATItool set to underclock my 9800pro so a lot of the time my PC is just ticking over.

I recommend CPU-Z which will tell you all about your CPU and memory settings.

Now that I have a cool and quiet enabled motherboard I still don't bother using it.

My CPU runs at 800Mhz at idle with C'n'Q enabled, 1.28 v vcore. Never have any problems that can be C'n'Q related, I think it is a wonderful option to have!
