IT Work in N.West / Sligo area

Lo all,

Im completely fed up with Dublin and working in Dublin.
Im MCSA with 2+ years Network Support exp and am moving to Sligo/Letrim/Donegal area in Sept (ish)
Nothing concrete yet but after many weekends camping/surfing and chilling up in that area over the last few years it feels like the right thing to do.
I am also well disillusioned (sp?) with my work situation. Been messed about by agency after agency, for months now in an effort to get off the phones once and for all. Any contacts I know have no positions going and the career is the only reason Im staying in Dublin (im irish but not from dublin) I dont wanna leave the country for london which seems like the logical move ( i lived in UK for many years)

At this stage Id rather be working in spar in sligo where at least Id have the great outdoors and a cheaper/better quality of life available (for me anyhow) as opposed to being cahined to a call centre with alchol being the only distraction as dublin is to me atm.

needless to say Id rather an IT job than work in Spar! but if it comes to it then id do it. So the point of the post - Anyone work in IT in the NW? Is there any kind of work up there in IT for someone with my backround? I should have a full clean licence by the also.
Thanks for any input ,Just trying to get an idea of lie of the land.

There were a few jobs going on either the FAS site or the Nixers site over that way. But you do see jobs over there. Mainly in Donegal.

They job situation is poor down the west to be honest. There are a few jobs going alright but a lot of heads looking for them.
Collin Mc Nicholas is not a bad spot to start they are based down West.
Abbotts are in Sligo, maybe worth a try.
There is a place in Donegal, cannot remember the name, finacial spot, seem to be looking for people with IT, I think, Clarify, Unix kind of work but take a look on the tinternet jobsites and you will find.
FAS as well are up there, you could try their site.
