What speaker set do you have and is it any good looking to upgrade sound system in my machine so want to get a decent speaker set and a decent sound card. Looking for as good as possible for as cheap as possible

My 5.1 Speaker System is posted in the thread mentioned above. What will you be using your soundcard for - games mainly or music mainly? From reading the threads here on boards.ie, if you play a lot of games, then a Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2 or a similar flavour is the man for the job. If your into music, I bought an M-Audio Revolution 7.1 from a crowd in Germany.

What kind of speaker set are you looking for? 2.1, 5.1 or 6.1, etc?
Also what kind of money are you planning to spend?

Hi,

Going to get an audigy 2 card and looking at spending under 100 for speakers but that is strechable (not too much).! Mainly music small bit of gaming..

How about the Creative® I-Trigue™ 2.1 3300? I've heard them before and the sound quality is excellent and within your price range.
