Dumb XP boot disk question

Im sure I should already know the answer to this one but can you get an XP boot image that fits on single floppy?

The reason being I need to get to a cmd prompt with the NTFS partitions readable, so I can then run the dos version of F-PROT to clear a nasty virus off a mates PC.

Since I need to write down a set of idiot proof instructions coz I wont be near the pc, I reluctant to cut a boot CD.

Any ideas links gratefully recieved.

I used to always recommend http://www.bootdisk.com/ but they appear to have started charging for them via Paypal. Tried googling aswell, and lots of other sites that used to give them for free are also charging. F**k sake. Sorry.

Yea I d/l'd some good stuff of theirs about six months ago...just not the stuff I need now DOH!

Ok after a load more googling I found some free sites.

this site has lots of free bootdisk images

this site has a good tutorial on creating f-prot floppies.

this site contains a nice generic looking boot disk that supports multiple dos AV scanners.

this site also contains lots of free boot disks and also a pre-scripted f-prot floppy builder. The d/l's seem a bit flaky though. I have successfully d/l'd once but am having trouble this time round.

I will let you know which method worked laters.....
