Bit sad to be asking this as it's quite a sh1te show but anyway. So I've been watching this the last few weeks, out of sheer boredom on a Sunday evening, and now it's over. Not being a follower of football I don't really get the ending. They got demoted from the Premiership to the 1st division, or whatever, does that mean no Champions league and no more Dream team as the imaginary team are now pretend bankrupt?
I feal a bit cheated as I only jsut started watching it, and the fine South American one (main reason for watching along with the Irish one) is gone to jail

    Ah, Pilar:)

Sky will probably repeat the whole thing over the summer in one of those on every day twice a day and on Sky Mix as well things. That's what they did last year.

I can't watch that show any more without thinking of that Pennywhores song. Niall Quinn does it better live.

A new series has been commissioned.
I have watched it from the start ,must be 7 or 8 years.
Was a very good show and I watched it religiously, but this season was a real shambles.
The writers lost the plot completely.
I must watch the last episode as I taped it.

Don't even watch this show but from a purely footballing POV there's nothing that says you have to still be in the top division of your league to compete in Europe. Just a couple of years ago Ipswich were Div1 and played in the UEFA cup. Millwall will do the same next season. In fact so did Bray Wanderers if my memory serves me?

On the other hand if the 'team' are bankrupt then that might change things. However I'm sure some diamond geezer will buy them back into business with his monopoly money minutes before they go into liquidation.
