If thats really what you think this is about then I'm afraid you have totally missed the point.

I'm pretty sure the "cliche" that this revolves around is gone now, so I expect no more bannings over this.

However, I'm sure there will be a few casualities along the way of people who've decided to jump on the "bandwagon" i.e. s4dd & elvis2002.

These people have no idea what this is about but still think, hey its fun.

Seriously, I'm not the bad guy here. This is not me on a big power trip nor me trying to control the whole carlow IT forum. I'm just doing my job, trying to keep the place reasonably spam free.

Well, i can't say i know for certain what's going on. I definitly wouldn't go so far as to say "bandwagon", or even lump me in the same catagory as elvis2000 *spew*

It seems to me, that there was some gentle pushing of netsoc, perhaps with a view to getting on some nerves... which obvioulsly have been gotten on.

Also, enough of the defeatist attitute Ivan.. serioulsy!! If the forum closes, tis what's ment to happen. Don't go fueling self pity with a means to sympathy. With my modest knowledge of the subject, mods should be above such petty emotions... kinda like Jedi in that respect. Strive to be UBER-human! human++!



And, no Mordy... no "threats". Twould seem to me that someone is in a perpetual mod rim-job position with a constant view to make a cosey rectal nest :P

Hmm, where to start. I'd hardly call using full stops as links to netsoc as gentle pushing. I'd hardly call writing a single line sentence which is a link to netsoc as gentle pushing. I'd hardly call asking what netsoc.itcarlow.ie is all about as gentle pushing. I'm sure you see where I'm going with this...

And as for getting on my nerves. That isnt really the point. I'll be the first to admit that they have succeeded on getting on my nerves but that isnt what this is about. I've treated this as I've treated ever other attempt to spam on this board. With fiery vengence and I shall continue to do so untill the board is shut down, untill I am removed or untill I finally succumb to the endless trolling and resign.

As for the defeatist attitude, its a simple truth. The admins wanted to shut down the Carlow IT forum. Instead myself & TomTom took over. When all of the posts were deleted they wanted to shut down the forum again. Even TomTom agreed. I asked that it be allowed to remain. But I'm begining to change my mind. Its not a defeatist attitude its just that I'm sick of this crap. Looking after a board, asking for it to be kept when the people who post on it dont even care enough to be civilised.

Mordeth is simply looking out for the boards best interests while keeping us all amused at the same time.

If you genuinely dont know what this is about, I'd suggest you keep your head down and ride out the storm.

Its funny you know, I'm such an efficient mod that people are rarely faced with the crap I have to deal with. So when there is something like this; i.e. pre-emptive measures to stem the tide of pointless netsoc spam people dont know where this all came from.

Mordy get away with it because one night while asleep he attached a small explosive device to my testicles which upon removal or him being banned will blow my nuts off. I did agree to the forum being shut down, due to the hugh amount of crap and spam being posted and the little help mods get from the forum users. It seems that most are just posting to see how far a person can be pushed. Now to be honest for the last few months Ivan has done the bulk of the modding on the carlow forum as I'm traveling at the moment and I am not always near a computer.
But if he bans you I'm automatical going to agree with him because even if he's not right we are a team and we have THE POWER. So to quote the ozzies.
