    Can someone give me link to download debian unstable
    I have being looking at ftp://ftp.ie.debian.org/ but can not find it

    because of the strain an ever changing distro on .iso would present debian doesn't release offical unstable images.

    Instead debian uses jigdo to build an iso from the latest .debs

    While since I've done it being a gentoo user, but here is the how to:

    One of the Linux magasines in easons has a dvd of debian 3.1 sarge which is the current testing version.

    thats the beta debian installer. You could grab the 110 meg base system install cd and use that, or get a smaller one and do a net install.

    Don't forget that these is a difference between testing/Sarge and unstable/Sid. If you particularly want Sid, install Sarge from your DVD, and then upgrade.

    FYI, Sarge will become the stable release sometime in the next few months, but Sid will always remain unstable.

    thats what I did changed the sources file from testing to unstable
    and select upgrade
