International status in CM 03/04

anyone know how to change the international status of players in CM, in my first season i withdrew all my big players cos i didnt want them gettin injured, now they are all unhappy cos i have them withdrawn??

think of it this way.

if you were called up to play for your country.. would you be pissed off if your manager withdrew you?

afaik you can only withdraw them from friendly games.. they get called up to a decent international and they just.. go. you cant stop them
