yep, I lived in Boston for some years and love the game, Red Sox fan of course. Just saw that Randy Jhonson pitched a perfect game last night, it capps a brilliant career, he and Shilling were amazing in the '01 WS.
You can watch MLB games on NASN if you have Sat TV, but it's a bit pricey at €15 a month.
Also BBC Radio 5 Live have World Series commentary.

The one thing I don't like is the pathetic MLB drugs policy. You see the likes of Bonda, Sosa, Giambi etc putting up huge HR numbers and no real drug testing, i'd reckon steriod abuse is rampant.

Yeah, I dont trust Bonds for a second. I used to have NASN but my current apartment block doesnt support digital TV, so I just watch highlights on the net in work. I used to live in Toronto and am thus a Jays fan. Pity they're awful....Boston have a good chance this year. Wonder what the odds are on a Sox Cubs WS?

I played there a couple of years ago very briefly, but moved to Canada. I tried to contact someone there when I got back by email but got no reply...do you know if there's much of a demand for players?

They are always crying out for players. I came from a hurling background and they were falling to get me to play. Must try and find time to get back into it now...

Cubs v Red Sox was very much on the cards last season until that idiot interferred with the ball in game 5 of the NLCS and Grady Little left Pedro in in the 8th of the ALCS.

Sox are doing OK so far, tied in the loss column with the Yanks but are missing some major bats, Nomar, Trot Nixon etc. As a result they have Bellhorn at 2nd and his defence is terrible, still reckon it will be between them at Yanks for AL East with the runner up getting the wild card. Sox pitching is much better.

Looking forward to July 4th weeeknd as NASN might be freeview all weekend as it was in 2003

    Big baseball Fan here!
Hence the name, though I'm torn between the Bosox and Mariners
great game last night D. McCarthy hitting a walk off homer to give the Sox a 9-7 victory.

I played a game in the Irish Baseball league last year not bad and good fun
Yet the problem is the Diamond is out in the Boonies.
    Yet give it a go.

one game 0-2 on that day.
    Nerves tbh
    HA HA

Mariners are pretty bad this year....but the jays still couldnt beat em! Well tonight is Doc vs Meche, so T.O should take that one....Even without Catalanatto, Hudson, Woodward, Cash, Delgado. Thats a lot of injury's!

NASN are broadcasting free for the 4th of July weekend, so lots of baseball (plus a bit of NASCAR )
