Why can't Irish Viewers order Premiership Plus Season Ticket by using the RED BUTTON. We Irish have to phone the UK to order this service.

Its hardly the end of the world now is it?

There is really only a handful of the interactive stuff available to Ireland compared to the range of stuff (mostly junk I might add) the UK have to choose from.

As far as I know its to do with billing and exchange rates. Only the stuff Sky take payment for directly eg Box Office or Nightly Adult Services can be ordered directly from the remote as they have dedicated Irish phonelines set up to deal with these, and an Irish bank account for direct debits.

Its not so long ago we had no interactive content at all in Ireland. However it is an area I think they should look at for the future, but personally apart from an occassional Sky News vote I never use the interactive stuff.

Is thier a special offer running now in reagrds to next season' s season ticket?

€70 for 50 games, offer ends June 5th. In the UK its £50 for 50 games.

Sky Sports will be showing 88 live games next season, and 30 more games between Setanta and RTÉ, you never had it as good as you'll have it from next season.

Oh, and you dont have to ring the 0044 number, ring the normal Sky Customer Service number on 0818 719819 (national call rate), you can order it from there. Why they didnt advertise this, I've no idea.

Is this credit card only or can you have it added to your direct debit on a once off basis?

i doubt it as they only do that when you can order off the interactive and we in ireland cant, so no.

Credit card only over the phone, IIRC.

Is now the right time to order the season ticket? I seem to remember last year it got cheaper during the summer for a while before going back up again.

I doubt it will go any cheaper than 70 euro for 50 games which is exactly the same price as last year i.e. 1 euro 40 cents per game.

The offer is usually repeated though at the start of the season when it is advertised in the Sky mag.
