    Might be wee bit dodgey.

Try this thread for other peoples spec and how well it runs.

I have a similar set up but with twice the ram and it runs maxed out at 800 x 600 and good at higher resolutions, just remember to get the latest drivers.

As an aside I ran it on a smaller system I have and it ran at the lowest detail ok over 56k, it was a 1.5Ghz with 256Mb of Ram and a Geforce 2 card with 64Mb of onBoard Ram.

I think the graphics will run ok..the load times will be very long though, but all I want is smoothness I dont mind waiting.

When you mean the latest drivers do you the latest ATI drivers or the latest nerd drivers...I don't know much about these nerd drivers that seem to come out..

I know someone who has almost the same spec, except they have a 9600. It runs the game fine, you'd probably be grand in medium detail, 1024*768 16bit colour. Hopefully you won't have to go to really low detail, as that brings down the view distance, putting you at a disadvantage. They did have 768mb ram though, 256 is not enough really. Loading time is one thing, but once you supposedly finished loading, and are in the game, on 256mb ram, it will read from the hard drive occasionally, which really messes you up. You should look on the for sale board and/or put a wanted ad up for another 256 or 512mb of ram, see if you can get it cheap.

Unfortunatly that isnt enough information and Im not any where near an expert on it try asking the guys here and they might be able to help you find out what type you need.
The fact of the matter is you will have to open your PC to establish what type of Ram you have and the guys over in tech will tell you what to look for.

Wot dell dimension? What number? 8200?

You may have RD Ram, whose mobo's aren't compatiable with DDR.

Why not goto www.ocfaq.com and download the softmoded drivers and see if you can overclock your 9500 pro to 9700 pro speeds, that will give you a boost
