Any info given on the matter asap would be great. This me seem like a stupid question but how do you get Windows 2000 pro to boot from the cd (in this case, the windows xp pro cd)? I've looked anywhere and can't find it....help would be appreciated.

Or failing that, how do I boot into ms-dos?

I'm really not with it today...but still. Any help is muchos appreciated

    Hey Spike,

If you restart the pc and keep hitting "del" while it starts it should bring you into the BIOS. There is an option in there to change where the machine boots from. ie Floppy, HDD1, HDD2, CDROM.

Just make CDROM the first choice and restart.

Get a DOS boot disk from bootdisk.com. If your partitiions are NTFS you wont be able to do all that much to your file system though. There is some sort of DOS NTFS driver you can get. I dont have a URL handy though.
