Recommend me some arcade roms

i've been getting heavily into emulated games recently (700mb of rar'ed n64 roms downloaded in 2 weeks:) )
are there any must have arcade games that i've missed out on?
i've only got the 5 metal slugs, a couple of samuairi (sp!) showdowns, fatal furys and king of fighters so far...

i'm not asking for linkage, merely the names of a few good games

For beat'em ups go for the capocom games especially the legendary Street fighter 2. Theres also the Mortal Kombat games from 1-ultimate mk3.

Theres loads of shooters to choose from. Personal favourites are R-type 1 2 and leo, Hyperduel, salamnder, nemesis, Gradius 1-3.

Currently I'm playing the cave/atlus shooters which are brilliant. Heres a site with the names of the best ones (no rom links):

Theres some very good konami games. Ones to look out for are Contra and Super Contra, Simpsons (excellent party game!), Teenage mutant ninja turtles.

Looking through what I have on my laptop I also recommend: aliens, alien vs. predator, 19XX, carrier airwing, the 2 dungeons and dragons games, cadillacs and dinosaurs, final fight, ghouls and ghosts, knights of the round, megatwins outrun, punisher, shock troopers 1+2, sunset riders, strider and un squadron.

Theres plenty more decent ones.

For comedy value id recommend Bad dudes VS dragion ninja. Ninja related crimes are rampant these days. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the president from the ninjas?? That stuff is GOLD!!
Anyone remember a game called mutant fighter? They had it in stand bowl when i was a nipper, class game that never could seem to come across on mame

Ah yes, I love when you finish a level and throw your fist in the air and in a bad ass voice say "I'm Bad". Ah classic stuff.

MAME emulates it with just minor bugs. Its called Special Criminal Investigation:) Class game.

Anyone know how to get the gun aiming to work in lucky and wild. The mouse command doesn't work?
