    Empire magazine had a review of this beautiful piece of tech, and I must say, the only bad part of it compared to an ipod is the price difference, but if you can afford it, its worth it IMO (although the transfer speed may not be the best...I dont know)

    anyway, I'd love to see it properly, but I dont know if its available in any Irish stores just yet, anyone else know??

    ~€600.:eek: Lack of firewire wouldn't be a problem imo. Its pritty large and heavy.Apart from that its pritty nice. I'm sure the 4th Gen iPod will have similar features...

    Yep. Apparently the 4th Gen will have a 2 inch color screen. Better battery life (it better have!) and possibly Video playback however i doubt that.

    It's ~€600 + VAT......

    You could almost get a DVD playing laptop for that price/
