Yep you know it's exam time when all goes quiet, people dissapear indoors and only emerge every couple of days with bags under their eyes.
It does mean that at the moment archery is more about stress management than practice!
Anyone else shooting much? Or am i the only one shooting during study.
I have a butt in my garden, with the huge shooting distance of 10M and a concrete wall behind it... beats having nothing at all i suppose!
Study couple of hours n shoot for 20mins, do that when i get the weather... (not happening that much lately.)

I'm only shooting twice a week now I have exams.
Once indoors in Maynooth College and Outdoors in Greenhills.

Shooting is a great way to relax between exams.

I've 11m in the backgarden, its actually quite nice to be hitting the gold so much :P the down side is the habit of saying "one more round and then i'll get back to study".

I'm finished on the 25th so i'll probably start going out to Dublin Archers on fridays and sundays from then on. Sinead / Maire do i need to ok it with anyone before i can come down, or is it ok to just show up?

Also i'll be probably have archery booked in Maynooth for 2 nights from mid-June onwards, proably 8-10, Tuesday and Thursday, so if anyone ever wants 30m indoor practice, ye're welcome to pop down.

Maire: Tuesdays in Whitehall? Change of day?

Ewan: Off to Germany for certain then I take it? Good luck! 24x7 archery sounds like fun. Just don't get too drunk before shooting. :p

yeah st.pauls tried to charge us a ridiclous amount of money for 1 day a week shooting outdoors so we decided to use tuesdays instead. we have it booked and payed for anyway so its pointless not to use it!!

Anyone heading to Dublin archers tomorrow night? Or are ye all still doing exams?

I'm thinking of going. Need practise. Damn exams stealing our hall means no practise for a week and a half or more.
