Claiming Tax Back from New Zealand

    Hey,

    if I go and work in New Zealand for a year will I be able to claim back the tax I paid over there when i get home?

    Anyone know.....

    Nope...don't think so anyway. I worked over there for a year. you have to do your own tax return as your employer doesn't do it for you and I actually ended up owing them money!

    I just got back and my boss was kind enough to get mine for me

    so what your saying is that your employer filed your tax returns over there for you ...but are you now able to claim back the tax that you paid over there?
