    UPCOMING BANDICOOT GIGS/EVENTS

    Scuzz rockers from New York, The Izzys, play a free show in Pine Lodge, Myrtleville, Co. Cork on Fri 28th May. Support comes from The Vital Spark. There are buses going to this event so if interested, let us know.

    Groove Indie from Manchester I Am Kloot return to the Half Moon Theatre on Wed 2nd June with support from The Olympic Lifts (5 piece quirky indie/hip hop). There will also be goodies given out on the night as a bonus. More details to follow on that soon.

    Spawned from the popular Dynamite compilation albums (100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600% Dynamite), the 100% Dynamite club (featuring the Soul Jazz DJ's plus MC Oxman ) hits the Half Moon Theatre on bank holiday Sunday 6th of June. The 100% Dynamite nights are firmly about dancing and having a party, mixing reggae/soul/dancehall/funk/hip hop plus more. DJ Troubleman spins eclectic groove in the Green Room.

    Fleshies from California bring their dirty rock n roll to Pine Lodge, Myrtleville, Co.Cork on Mon 7th June which is a bank holiday Monday. Signed to Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label, Fleshies create a sound likened to AC/DC, early Butthole Surfers, Iggy and the Stooges, At the drive in and Motorhead. Its free and part of Pine Lodge's 10th birthday weekend.

    Hardcore legends Nomeansno (from Canada) look set to do a show in the Half Moon Theatre on Sun 11th July. This is also looking likely to be part of their last ever tour.

    Senor Coconut and his orchestra are in the Half Moon Theatre on Fri 30th July. Expect Latin versions of Kraftwerk songs amongst other classics.


    Also coming to cork soon are The Handsome Family, Acid Mothers Temple (full band not Soul Collective) plus loads more.
