Just a copy of your CV and you always have to go in to register with them, which usually involves a typing test/aptitude test

Damn but I HATE using recruitment agencies. I never have any joy through them. Lived in the States for a while and had the same experience - all jobs I have ever be offered have been as a result of applying direct to the company, never via an agency. But I think that is because of my C.V., MA in History and I have only dotcom experience on my C.V., companies are sometime willing to understand that just because you didn't do a business/tech degree you can still do the job without a problem, but recruiters NEVER take a chance like that! If you arn't a perfect fit, forget about it....
