ok ok, it's only the demo I've played but damn i like it a lot

looks great, sounds great, and codemasters have mastered the art of damage replecation on the cars.

demo is only 80% complete but it really is good imo.

3 cars [old Jag, Merc supercar, Holden V8] and 3 tracks each with customisiable laps, AI level, car setup etc.

handling is spot on. wheel on grass == buckets of fun especially in the awesome rearwhell Holden.

doghnuts are a dream to do and hold.

afaik, sadly there is no touring cars in the full game

perhaps somebody has the full game and can comment more?

another winner by Codemasters.

oh...and no more Ryan whatshisface in the SP career mode

ive been playing the xbox version for the last 2 weeks solid and i love it.

its not really a sim but in console terms its as just about as real as it comes. the handling is very similar to f355 challenge but slightly more forgiving. the sheer number of different driving types and tacks available is astonishing. only the rally and uk rallycross sections are (piss)poor, everything else just feels right.

online is fantastic with voice comms, even if it only supports 12 players. it keeps player rankings, uploads you lap times and has no cheaters on live except for the odd lamers you get everywhere.

The Demo is fun ,its far better than TRD 1.
Graphics are stunning,physics are not quite arcadey but still a long way from most sims .
Try GTR demo for the ultimate Racing sim.
