Has anyone seen 13?

It is the worst, worst,WORST (sorry needed to be repeated) film ever made.
I cant stand ppl saying its good, i had minor respect for alex zane until he said the film was unmissable and an amazing insight into the lives of teenagers.

In the film, one goody two shoes girl meets another popular girl and within one week this happened...

taking serious drugs
dealing drugs
sleeping around
had an orgy
become a bisexual
started stealing
got a belly-button ring
became an alcoholic
got a thumbring
saw her friend kiss her mom
has typical bad father relationship moments
and to cap it all off, she slits her wrists

This is in NO WAY an accurate depiction of most teenage life, especially not all in one week, there wasnothing original or inspirational about the film either.

also, there was some very cheesy rap moments in the film
"teh teh teh tracyyyyy........"

finally somebody agrees with me!!! everyone i know who's seen it has waffled on about how it was so deep and had great emotion and it was so good to see a realistic film blah blah blah

it sucked!!!!! it was the most over-blown sensationalist piece of crap i've ever seen! that girl was one unlucky b1tch wasnt she!!

not as unlucky as she was unbelievably dumb, im finding it very hard to see how this piece of self indulgent crap is getting any praise at all.

Well I suppose it is up to me to be a bit different. It isn't a brillant film, but it isn't all that bad.
I would say average, nothing less.

I thought it looked terrible, but I haven't actually seen it. Actually, it was probably because of that that I didn't see it.

I know most people here will probably have seen it, considering UCI carried it, but still, you should put your buddies on to it if they haven't. The region 1's out a good while now.

I tend to hate films about american suburbia, this was not an exception.

Another film I disliked for its portrayal of American life: Igby goes down.

I thought it was really good and very well done. It didn't happen in one week, it was definitely over a longer period of time. I thought it was quite believable as well, since I know people like that...

It might not be to everybody's taste, its not a unique take on teenage life or anything, but I thought it was well worth watching.

It wasn't brilliant, but has it moments. It didn't take place over a week, don't know why you would assume that.

It may not be a typical teenagers life, but it's definitely not uncommon. This does happen. In fact, the script was co-written by the girl that plays the "popular" girl, based on her own life.

Awful film, really hated it, was just another made for tv good girl falls in with a bad crowd movie except it got more graphic then the usual t.v. ones

I see that all of you failed to notice that the main character's brother was normal? As were her friends?

The film was not meant be a sweeping statement on all teenagers.

I suggest you stick to films with The Rock and Rob Schneider in them.

I suggest that you stick to listening to Gary Glitter and Micheal Jackson...
