In damage Archer robbed the Warp coil from the simi cardie ship....Now the warp coil was tiny and somehow the enterprise could use it im sure you all know the warp coil is HUGE its what the naccels hold (around 90% of the space in the naccel is taken up by say 12 coils) ..its worrying that the producers cant get the simple technology of star trek right :dunno:

biz is right it does matter

A warp coil is very large in feddy ships as i said around 12 or so take up 90% of the space in the Warp naccel also the size of the coil is important for the warp feild strength (ie if its to small it wont warp)

they ****ed up big time in that one...Should of just called the part they needed a plasma injector or something

Well then enterprise has a very different and very strange design because if u remember in 1 episode the crew had to live inside the necells, they where long corridors.

Far too small to be a warp core.
Whaty size are warp coils in TNG TOS DS9 VOY ?

The enterprise D has a control room in its naccel so there not very different designs

And as for what size a warp coil in tng ds9 voyager are Look at the naccel it will be the height of the naccel (with a gap where the blue grid is) and a few feet tick....They are bigger/smaller depending on the weight and speed of the ship there is NO WAY that dinky warp coil could power the enterprise-Nx-01 also warp coils are VERY hard to design and build its ment to be the reasion the Galaxy class took 25 years to design/build their not just things you can jerry-rig (sp)
