Hey there, the only way to get the phone manager software etc. working is to connect the N-Gage to the PC via Bluetooth, Infrared or through a cable which you do not get with the phone.

Obviously if you decide to use Bluetooth you will need a BT dongle on your machine. Infrared will require a receiver too.

Basically all you can do with the USB cable (supplied with the phone) is to transfer pics and music\mp3 to and from your PC to the N-Gage, anythying else like backing up the phone and contacts etc. requires you to use phone manager or the Nokia PC suite. These will NOT work with the USB connection.

    Hope this helps :)

Just hypotheticly, would it not be better and cheaper to buy a "normal" mobile phone and some mobile gaming device like GBA?
