    I ordered off them about 3 weeks ago, and still no sign of my goods. The don't answer my e-mails about getting the tracking number for my parcel, even though its been posted over 2 weeks ago. I've sent numerous e-mails and only ever gotten one reply saying that my parcel was posted over 2 weeks ago.

    The only reason i know my parcel was sent is because i sent in 3 e-mails wondering why it hadn't been shipped yet!! The last one i wrote in german hoping that someone would reply, and they did!

    So far VERY unsatisfactory. In future it will more than likely be komplett, despite the higher prices. In fact, i'll send yet another e-mail now asking for more info. But as usual i expect it to be ignored.

    Very bad service if i may say so.

    sent them an email on what i would buy if I knew the postal price and the emailed me back!
    Is it a case of the carrott before the donkey?
    Did the site calculate the postage after you paid?was it by bank draft or credit card?
    just wondering as the savings are huge on this site!

    Postage was about 30euro for me on a FULL SYSTEM! Including a case, monitor and the usual stuff.

    THe savings are huge, but customer service isn't great at ALL. I just sent another e-mail... maybe i'll get a reply to this one.

    thats a huge problem for me as i know that sometimes packages get returned to the sender because the delivery companies can't find my house, so usually i have to ring them and collect it myself. If i don't have a number, i can't ring them and collect it.

    So that is going to be a major pain in the ass unless i can get that number.

    What is the german for tracking number? I am hugely annoyed over this.

    Ive ordered a few times of them, the tracking number is usually sent to you in an e-mail which is nice and handy for tracking. The website is a little wierd and says your parcell is delivered the min it leaves jes-computers..........

    Ive had no problems with them, roughly a week for delivery but GLS have been pretty decent for delivering to me anyway. I think people who have had problems with GLS from komplett are probably going to have simular ones with jes. Depends on your area.

    I have had no trouble with them either. You can't use your credit card to order btw.

    If you place the order it will show you how much shipping is at the end. The order can't be processed until you pay for it anyway. Then get down to your bank and transfer the money.

    It will take 5 working days to clear then your order will be dispatched.

    Then it's in gls's hands and if your orders late blame them. They are a **** company but I got my order on time. Driver even rang me before hand to let me know he was coming.

    Jes send me the tracking number as well and responded to my e-mails, which I send in English, very quickly.

    Can only recomend them as the service was perfect for me.

    My parcel still shows up as "Pending" on the site, and still no reply from what must be my 4th e-mail looking for the tracking number.

    haven't had any trouble with them -- although you do have to go through 3/4 days in limbo about where your product is so that's never a good thing!

    I remember in some other thread someone was going on about paypal payment and how it could take up to a month to get it cleared for your first order. Just wanted to say the first time I went to these guys was about 3/4 weeks ago and my stuff arrived in the post 4 days later -- cpu/mobo/hdd. I set up a paypal account with the credit card through their site when purchasing the goods and it was cleared for payment immediately and my product shipped the next day.

    I sent in one e-mail querying the order as the paypal status showed as pending on jes-computer but I had received e-mail confirmation from paypal that the money had been cleared. I got an e-mail back the day before my product arrived from customer service telling me the product should be with me very soon and it arrived the next day -- was very happy with their service overall.

    Thing to watch is the shipping -- I got charged a little extra for some type of shipping I couldn't get anyway which was a bit of a bummer, you can only get it shipped with GLS as far as I'm aware -- despite what you specify on purchase of said goods.

    I sent them another e-mail yesterday, and there is STILL no reply.

    Can someone suggest what e-mail address i should be e-mailing to. I'm am pretty f*****g angry at the moment. I don't mind if the parcel is in delivery, but they refuse to answer the e-mails inquiring about it.

    I placed the order on the 17th of april, and paid on the following monday (the 19th). They claim the order was shipped one week later! (the 26th). But i only found that out after several e-mails.

    And now its the 6th of may, fast approaching one month since i ordered, and still not a sign of the package! Their site still says its pending, and no matter whether i write my e-mails in english or german, they don't reply.

    I think this is definately the last time i order from them. On the same day i ordered a Graphics card/mobo and keyboard from Komplett.ie, and it arrived the following wednesday. Over 2 weeks ago.

    On their kontakt page they say the following:

    Basically, they say that if you have queries about orders, do it through that e-mail. I'd say **** them and call that number. It's not a standard number, so it could be some premium rate job. Try 0049 1805 554 88188.

    They have a number at the top of the page:

    Fon: 07191 - 3226-0; Fax: 07191 - 3226-29
    ( nicht für Versandkunden! )

    So, apparently not for placing orders, but again, sod them! The number looks a little short for that area, so I'll try checking in a phone book for you.

    The vast majority of Germans under 50 will speak English, so I wouldn;t be afraid to call them. If you want, I (well, the g/f, she's German) can translate a mail for you. PM me if you like.

    I have two 12 digit tracking numbers off them, but they aren;t GLS tracking numbers, and they're not DHL tracking numbers.

    never mind, after being on the p[hopne to 3 delivery companies i found outr it was securicor... and my parcels were both returned to sender. I'm now feeling both extremely pissed and smug, because i told them thatt this has happened before...

    Well, at least you know where they are or aren't now.:dunno: Did they just send you these numbers after their initial reply to the German mail?

    Did Securicor give you tracking numbers so you can tell if Jes have received the goods back? If so, I can do another mail for you explaining this situation, and perhaps ask them to resend and to give the tracking numbers too this time!

    No, they didn't give me the numbers after the initial e-mail, i sent them another e-mail basically cutting and pasting some german from the origional message, along the lines of "can i have the tracking number in case they can't find my house", and they finally sent me the numbers.

    My order was sent in 2 packages, one of which was earmarked "return to sender". Luckily that one was caught just before it was sent back... in another hour it would have been gone back to germany.

    Unfortunately the second one has "vanished" and can't be tracked at the moment. I was told that if it isn't in santry, its gone back already. I'm going to wait for more info from securicor before i e-mail jes again, and i might need your translating services again.

    The problem is they addressed it wrong. The one that has been found was sent to

    *house name*
    Dublin 1
    Ireland

    instead of
    *housename*
    *more details*
    ballyroan road,
    rathfarnham,
    Dublin 16

    I'm on the phone right now, and they think the second parcel is in Offaly. Dear god this was a major screwup!!

    Glad that mail helped you get the numbers eventually. We weren't sure what the proper translation for "tracking number" was, as it seemed to be similar to their idea of an "order number". Anyway, the got the idea at least (even if you did have to Blitzkrieg them for it :))

    If it is actually in Offaly, well, at least it's in the Country and you have a good chance of getting it sooner from Securicor. :dunno:

    HAH! If it was only Offaly that it was spotted in. The person i was talking to also told me that it was seen wandering the streets of Limerick AND also skulking around Kildare.

    To be honest, i'm not sure if Securicor know where it is. The last time it was spotted was Wednesday the 5th. I was told they were goning to get an inspector to track it down for me. So hopefully it'll arrive on monday or tuesday.

    And to think this could all have been avoided if i was given my tracking number, which i first asked for on the 30th of April.

    Just a quick update to let you all know whats happened.

    I went up to the DHL-Securicor collection deput yesterday evening and managed to collect the parcel that was there. All that was in it was the monitor! So i;m a bit annoyed i didn't get the other parcel, which as all the important bits in it.

    The "missing" parcel has now turned up in the Santry deput, but thats closed, and i won't be able to get it delivered to me til wednesday at the earliest, which is a pain in the hole.

    I definately think i'll be talking to jes about this mixup. Very unsatisfactory. The origional label on the monitor was addressed to:

    *wrong name*
    The Square
    Kilrush
    Ireland.

    Don't ask me how they could get it so wrong.

    to be fair ive always preferred to buy from komplett as i dont want to go through all the hassles you have to go through with jes just to save 10/20/30 euros..

    and all that waiting...

    Unbelievable! That's a pretty major screwup allright. :( If you want a complaint in Deutsch let me know. At least you know you'll get your stuff instead of it being lost in the ether... :dunno:

    Well, they saved me over 140euro on my complete system... so i suppose it was worth it. If only i got the numbers off em a week ago i would ahve been a lot happier. And i will be getting back to you on monday or tuesday about another german letter.
