    hi,

I've been playing on and off for nearly 12 years. I'm just wondering how in the hell I could have been so stupid all this time. I've been using cheap plywood guitars (50 - 100 euro) all the time and was never happy with my playing, the sound just really got me down, hence the on off relationship with playing.

My girlfriend just bought me a guitar for my birthday, she has a left handed model herself, it's a Simon and Patrick Luthier Ceder 6 Mahogany. I just can't put it down. It's the best gift I have ever received in my life and I feel my playing has benefitted from it greatly.

Now, I don't put the quality of playing down to the expense of an instrument, but Jesus, everybody must find that using a correctly hand crafted solid body guitar HELPS bring your playing to the next level?

anyway, here's a pic attached. I just love it, if I had the money I'd buy one for every guitar player on boards.

I think we're gonna have to wait until after May 22nd (Boards beer) to really get it on the road.

so long as momentum remains with it, hate to see it as an effort that fades out, it's a great idea.
