I just canceled my sky subscribtion (I'm not watching tv at all) and will be selling the hardware (dish, cable, digibox, remote) soon
I was wondering what should I do with the viewing card? Should I cut it and throw away or give it to the buyer (provided I will not be doing something wrong) and they can use it? It's a standard sky viewing card (not ftv). I presume to destroy it but want to confirm that
this is not a FS thread so do not make offers, I just wanted to have that question answered
    thanks

the card is the property of Sky/NDS and would be useless to another person anyway if it is a cancelled Irish card so there would be no point in giving it with the hardware considering more FTA channels are on the non Irish EPG. so i'd keep onto it if i were you

The first generation viewing cards when the subscription was cancelled TV3 & TG4 used to work, dont know if this is still the case with the new ones.
