I dont suppose there is a such thing as a website listing for this is there?
Anyway, if anyone knows of anyplace available for 3/4 1st years for next september somewhere reasonably near cit/ucc it would be helpful. Although this is kinda early smile.gif

www.daft.ie has sections for Cork, not specifically student so most of them are probably too posh for the likes of ye smile.gif

Might be worth a look though.

    paladin..

on daft.ie there's a section where you can search for accommodation near a specific college .. not specifically student accommodation but quite useful anyway smile.gif
though.. i reckon it might be a bit early to look for september just now..

It's never too early to start looking. You should check with the accomodation office of the college you are going to. Often they have a site on the intranet that you can't access from outside the college.

If it's CIT the most desireable houses (those right outside the college) are sometimes booked a year in advance. I know 3 lads are graduating from one of them so you never know.

The Student Accomodation Office in UCC has house listings. They have also complied a list of bad landlords to avoid. They don't have a website and barely know how to use a computer so the listings won't be online in the near future.

To get a good house you'd better start looking around now. The best bet would be to come down one weekday after your exams. You'd still get loads of houses around then.

I need the same.. but in Dublin.. but if I looked in June, as you suggested, and I don't want the house until September, would I have to reserve it or something?
    How does that work?
