    Bernard Black has sold up it seems. According to Dylan Moran he's had enough of it and says there's no point in writing any more....

    Black Books, with Bill Bailey and Tamsin Greig — saw Moran write and star as the cantankerous Bernard Black, a Bloomsbury bookseller who prefers red wine to people. The show has just finished its third and final series to a chorus of pleas for more.

    Moran isn’t interested. “I think we’ve done it, and people enjoyed it, and that’s what we were after. There’s a risk of undermining the whole enthusiasm we had at the outset.

    I really liked it but i supose its better to go out before it gets rubbish as all sit coms eventually do.

    Yeah it's probably the right time to stop - only a few of series three were up to the standard of series 1 and 2

    Yeah, it was beginning to lack in scope as well, they were relying more and more on getting away from the bookshop. Would be nice to see the crew get together for a new project (hopefully).

    ah man I love that show!! c'mon its where i got my name, fizzy nice nice is what bernard called alka-seltzer (which i also love), ah well at least i'm goin to see Dylan Moran this month in vicar street
