I've been around these boards for a while, and so I know that there was or is some interest in this album. I remember a few people trying to track it down, which was reasonably difficult without a credit card or whatnot. Anyway, on the off-chance that someone out there still wants a copy I can tell you know that there should be some brand spanking new copies in your local record stores now. A batch of them were discovered in a warehouse..or so the story goes.

Afaik, they're in HMV and Tower and I'd presume most other well-stocked outlets. They even made it down here to Galway. I'll purchase at least one, my original is in rag order.

How big did those guys actually get ? Did they crack the UK, US at all ? I remember hearing of them when they first appeared and seeing a video of theirs on "no disco". People said they would be the next U2.

Ashley from the Frank and Walters ranks this record Very very highly. He reviews cds on Red Fm.

It is a pity that the wgipping boy don't reform as this record was only brillant.

Yo, is this the album with 'Twinkle' on it? I used to love that song.

Heartworm sold 70,000 copies and single we dont need nodody else was just outside the charts. My favourite album of all time a massive number of my posts are about this band. Their other two albums arent bad either although their not as good as heartworm (nothing is).

Heartworm is easily one of my favourite albums of all time, better than Whipping Boy and Submarine combined.

Damn - I've been looking for a copy of the album for ages now! Do you realise that you can't even seem to download "When We Were Young"? What has the music / evil file-sharing industry come to???

On another note, thier follow-up "Lowrent 2001" was crap, apart from "Pat The Almighty". Loads of violins and stuff - not their style at all.

Their third album was called "Whipping Boy", published by Low Rent in 2001. :)
(I know it says "Low Rent 2001" on the spine, so its an easy mistake to make!) :D
