Amps for €500

I'm going to be buying a new amp soon and I've €500 to spend. I had a TSL60 head and cab before and I didn't really like the tone at all. I basically bought it because it was a "Marshall".

I'm looking for a classic rock tone, like Sambora.
And it has to be loud enough for a pub gig.

    Anyone got any recommendations?

Look for the aforementioned Line6 Spider II 112 on http://www.thomann.de and http://www.musicstore.de. You'll get one first hand for €350, including shipping. You can try one out in Musician Inc in town and see if you like it. For the money, it's what I'd recommend.

I've done some checking and the Spider II seems to be getting good reviews. I'll probably go up and give it a try on Tuesday in Musicicians Inc..

Got a spider 112 myself, and its a lovely amp. A bit fiddly til you get used to it.
If you've got €500 to spend you could go for the twin speaker 212. They sound exactly the same, but the 212 has that lovely stereo effect. Its €450 plus delivery form thomann or €520 (I think) from instrumental.
