They're not all in Dublin...today I travelled about 300 miles east-west-east and was stopped in 4 different
    check-points!

So just in case anyone thought it would be quiet on the roads this weekend, think again!

    Mike.

.. and they don't seem to realise that the don't need the siren on for their entire journey. It must make them feel important or something.

OMG - I was met by 2 Garda cars and 2 patrolling Gardai on a quiet suburban estate road in Foxrock (Foxrock Park) just an hour ago.

I was swerving all over the place, bolloxed drunk, on my push bike but they didn't care 'cos I had lights on and talked posh.

    tribble

    /edit for 'bolloxed drunk' typo

Stopped yesterday at a checkpoint outside Shannon on Limerick-Galway road. Stopped today on the other side of Shannon going from Galway-Limerick. I assumed it was something to do with possible protests or The Very Washed in Shannon but I suppose it was something to do with the bankholiday weekend.
