I have been pondering this for a while but I have yet to ponder it openly to get other peoples opinions. Why have the cover illustrations change from being done by Josh Kirby to being done by Paul Kidby? It's probably some really simple answer but it'd be nice to know anyways.

Because Paul Kidby is better

Its probably tied in with the fact that the graphic novel(s?) were done by mr. kidby aswell.

i prefer Paul to josh myself.

Josh Kirby died in 2001. He was 72.

Paul's artwork is probably better tho i did like josh's style
