The American dude comes off as bland, uninteresting and really irritating.
Wonder if the reviewer actually saw the original.

I dont know why America wanted to make a "NEW" office for the americans when the brittish one is brilliant. i mean it has won 2 Golden Globes, loads of BAFA's and is loved all around the world. i just wish there was more series cause you could just keep watching them again again.

Why is it I get proud when I see British Tv series doing well in the states?

Probably more proud than the british themselves

    Its disturbing:dunno:

Thick Merkins probably wouldn't get half the humour in the British version. Reminds me of the US pilot of Red Dwarf - talk about dumbed-down.

as much as i miss it im glad it stopped when it did. its better to make two quality series than keep going and end up being shít. it was pure quality.

the american one will be well dodgy. but i suppose the reverse happened in the UK when they tried to remake That 70's Show. that was a complete disaster.....does anyone else even remember it? i think a guy that used to the token gay in emmerdale was in it. he's in heartbeat or something now.
